And my oh my – What a bank holiday weekend!
Some of you may know that I have been trying to buy a property for what feels like years! Having paid my student loan off, other debt that I had accumulated over the past 15 years the past 3 years I have finally been able to save money on a deposit for a house. Not a huge deposit but a good amount to get a decent mortgage interest rate. I have meticulously gone through my budget a million times – not wanting to take ownership of a home lightly and fully looking at my situation and making decisions. And feeling positive, a little challenged yet comfortable with those decisions. I guess this is growing up!
I am not going to lie it feels like a big moment, the next definitive chapter in my life and one that feels incredibly positive on so many different levels. It feels right.
Not wantting to tempt too much fate as I am still waiting for checks to go through and yet another mortgage offer to be put forward but I feel I am on the cusp of finally being able to call somewhere home. Lets see – will keep you updated!!
